How does pie.fun work?

Buy multiple tokens in one click with a "basket token". When you buy, we mint a basket token that represents your share of all component tokens in that basket. Each basket follows specific strategies for token selection and weighting.

How is the basket token price determined?

A basket token's value exactly matches its component tokens' total value. For example, if a basket contains components worth 1 SOL and has 10 basket tokens in circulation, each basket token is worth 0.1 SOL. When component prices change, your basket token value changes accordingly.

Are my assets safe?

Your assets are secured by audited smart contracts on Solana. Each basket token is 100% collateralized by its component tokens locked in the contract. You can sell your basket token anytime on pie.fun to receive SOL back.

What are the fees?

1% fee applies to minting (buying) and redeeming (selling) basket tokens. 70% goes to basket creators, 20% to platform maintenance. There's an annual streaming fee, currently set to 0% for launch.

What if I don't have SOL?

You can bridge ETH, USDT, or USDC from Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Blast, or Optimism directly on pie.fun. The bridged assets will automatically convert to SOL for basket purchases.

What is rebalancing and how does it work?

Regular adjustment of component weights to maintain basket strategy. Occurs weekly or monthly depending on the basket, with no additional fees.
